We are a working group: a team of women and their families, commissioners and providers (midwives and doctors) working together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care. We seek to amplify the voices of those using the local maternity service.
We work locally in Cheshire with Leighton Hospital Maternity Unit
We link with other Maternity Voice Partnerships (MVPs) in Merseyside and Cheshire, plus the National MVPs to influence change.
Working with local families, we listen to their experiences, collecting trends and work as a partnership to ensure these women and families voices are heard.
We aim to co-produce change within the local maternity services.

What We Do

We listen to mums, dads and families about what was good and what improvements or changes they would like see happen. These voices are amplified so everyone is heard.
We hold regular listening events, and quarterly partnership meetings. We work across Cheshire on a variety of projects to improve the experiences of women and families both antenatally and postnatally.

We work with midwives, health professionals and local commissioners to co-produce positive changes for the women and families using the maternity services.
